  • To protect untouched nature, avoid damaging plants or leaving trash behind.
  • Since there are large temperature differences in mountainous areas and near water, make sure to prepare clothing and cold-weather measures suitable for the season. Especially in Yamagata, which is a region with heavy snowfall, it is recommended to take thorough winter precautions.
  • Since there are many unpaved areas, it is safe to visit wearing shoes that are easy to walk in.
  • Since there are some areas with limited public transportation, it is safe to check transportation methods and routes in advance.
  • During winter, there are places that are closed or off-limits, so it is necessary to check in advance.

While valuing consideration for nature, please enjoy a comfortable and refreshing time.

Summary

In Yamagata, there are many breathtaking natural landscapes that have hardly been touched by human hands, as well as numerous beautiful structures that remain. Spending time in nature away from everyday life can refresh both the mind and the brain.
